Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS

Instrument types
Make / Model :
Malvern Nano ZS with autotitrator
The Malvern Zetasizer Nano system is a dynamic light scattering (DLS) machine capable of measuring particle size and zeta potential.
  • Uses a He-Ne, 4 mW, 633 nm red laser
  • Particle size range :  0.3 nm - 10 µm
Equipment Options:
  • Universal Dip-Cell kit
  • Surface Zeta Potential kit
  • Low-volume quartz cuvette
The dip cell is used for the measurement of zeta potential of samples in aqueous and non-aqueous dispersants, and is designed to be cleaned and reused. It is for batch measurements using standard polystyrene or glass cuvette.

Access Procedure
Trained users will have keycard access to the lab and will be able to book and use the analytical instruments after completing safety and instrument training.

Steps to Use Equipment
  1. Contact BNL staff to get trained on the instrument.
  2. BNL Staff will add you to the reservation system and assist you with key card access.
