Intended use to autoclave biohazard waste (BSL 1 and 2); prion decontamination

  • 690 L Steam Sterilizer.
  • Decontamination of biohazard waste (BSL 1 and 2) and prions
  • 4 standard biohazard bags can be loaded per run
  1. Users can use the autoclave in any of the two ways:
    • Load and run themselves (Per run fees)
    • Users need to be trained by BNL staff first before they will be allowed to operate the autoclave alone
    • Up to 4 bags per run
  2. Drop off biohazard bags (Per bag fees)
BNL staff will remove and dispose the bags from the autoclave after the run is completed for both "Per Run" and "Per Bag" operations.
