Solution State NMR Spectrometer 400MHz

Instrument types
Make / Model :
Agilent Technologies 400 MHz, 400-MR DD2 Spectrometer
These spectrometers located in Chemistry and Biochemistry are equipped with multiple solution-state NMR probes for direct or indirect detection of 1H/19F and low frequency nuclei such as 13C, 31P, and 15N.

The 400 and 500 MHz NMR spectrometers are dedicated to the needs of the synthetic chemists. Experiments conducted at the Facility range from routine 1D and 2D experiments for small molecule and polymer analysis at natural abundance to complex 3D and 4D multinuclear correlated experiments for protein structure determination using isotope-labeled samples.

400 MHz 5mm OneNMR Broadband Probe with PFG
  • Temp: -80 to +130C
  • Three channels: 1H/19F, X (15N-31P) and lock
  • Autotuning capable
  • Good for both 1H/19F and X nucleus direct detection
400 MHz 5mm Broadband Probe with PFG
  • Temp: -80 to 130C
  • Three channels: 1H/19F, X (15N-31P) and lock
  • Best for X nucleus direct detection

Access Procedure:

All instruments are user operated and are open to all researchers and students with proper training. Instructions for training are the following link  http://nmr.chem.ucsb.edu/training/index.html

Training is offered throughout the year to prospective users in group sessions and mostly experiment or technique focused, hands-on individual sessions.
