NMR Facility

The NMR Facility at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry currently houses four solution-state NMR spectrometers. 

Access Procedure: 

All instruments are user operated and are open to all researchers and students with proper training. Instructions for training are the following link  http://nmr.chem.ucsb.edu/training/index.html. 

Training is offered throughout the year to prospective users in group sessions and mostly experiment or technique focused, hands-on individual sessions.

    Bruker Avance NEO 500 MHz (actively shielded, bore size: 54mm)

  3. Solution State NMR Spectrometer 400MHz

    Agilent Technologies 400 MHz, 400-MR DD2 Spectrometer (actively shielded, bore size: 54 mm)

  4. Solution State NMR Spectrometer 500MHz

    Varian Unity Inova 500 MHz (unshielded, bore size: 51 mm)

    Varian Unity Inova AS600 600MHz (actively shielded, bore size: 51mm)
