This laboratory specializes in radiogenic isotope analysis (e.g. 87Sr/86Sr, 143Nd/144Nd, 206Pb/204Pb, 207Pb/204Pb, 208Pb/204Pb) in geological and environmental samples. It houses a thermal ionization mass spectrometer (TIMS), trace metal clean room laboratory, and associated supporting equipment.
